Howdy breadsters!

What a month! The dough continues to rise, we keep meeting nice folks, and people are saying nice things about us. Check out the piece on shared kitchens in the Minnesota Businness Journal as well as the great WCCO tv piece by Jason DeRusha.

Saturday is the new Wednesday

We interupt our regularly scheduled Wednesday delivery on May 14th to deliver to you on Saturday, May 17th. Don’t worry, it’s just this once and then it’s back to our Wednesday deliveries. We’ll remind everyone the week before, but we’d love to have any and all ride along on our delivery routes. There may even be a pizza party at Hot City afterwards.

Sponsor a loaf

Folks outside of our delivery area have asked how they can support Brake Bread. One suggestion was to sponsor a loaf. Good idea! Here’s how it works.

You sign up for a weekly delivery and tell us whomever to deliver it to within our delivery area. Or we’ll find a good home for it such as a family in transition, a neighbor with a newborn, a shut-in, someone waiting outside Joseph’s Coat, or any number of our amazing neighbors.

We appreciate your sponsorship and so will our community.

Future of 4th

Fourth Street in downtown St. Paul, from Minnesota to Wacouta, will be open to bike and pedestrian traffic only. We’ll be in downtown St. Paul Thursday, May 8 from 11:30am – 1:30pm for The Future of Fourth handing out samples and getting folks to subscribe to Brake Bread. Get more details about the event here and come on down and see us!

May the dough rise to meet you,
Nate & Micah
