Gone Awry

What’s that? Another new bread? Dang straight! Things have Gone Awry at the Brake Bread test kitchen. After months of on-again-off-again taming of the ever elusive rye flour we finally came up with a delicious rye bread that incorporates nummy spent grains from Vine Park Brewery. Let us know what you think.

No delivery on 24th

We’re taking a holiday (how very Euro of us) this Wednesday, Dec 24th. Plan your Christmas dinner appropriately. We will be on our bikes bringing you bread New Year’s Eve Day. Start that yearly resolution off right with a bread hangover.


It’s the most wonderful time of the year… to give bread as a gift. Need a last minute gift idea? How’s about a bread subscription?

Putting the fun in refunds

Customers: The payment system we work with only allows refunds to appear as a credit to previous items charged instead of reducing the amount on future recurring charges. So, we will issue refunds this week and they will be credited back to the card on file on the previous charge. Your next recurring amount for the subscription will be the same as it always is for you.
If you aren’t sure if credits have come through, then let us know.

Bag blech

Give those bags a holiday this week but hang them out proudly New Year’s Eve Day. Also, if you have extra please leave those out as well. We’re beginning to run short on canvas bags and don’t want to ring in the new year with plastic. Blech!
